Fingerprints are the most commonly found evidence at the crime scene and can help link suspects to the crime more easily than any other type of evidence. As a forensic crime scene investigator, it becomes crucial for you to be knowledgeable about fingerprint evidence handling in detail.

The Fingerprint Identification and Analysis Lab Internship by SIFS India helps you learn methodologies and challenges associated with modern fingerprint forensics and acquire skills needed to tackle complex cases easily within the legal framework.

During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in collecting, preserving, and analyzing fingerprints using physical and chemical techniques, an in-depth overview of the fingerprint anatomy, including ridge patterns and minutiae points, fingerprint classification systems, and advanced techniques used by forensic experts to solve real-world crime scenes.

You will have exposure to real-world case studies, quizzes, and assignments, along with theoretical concepts to help you apply your knowledge to practical forensic scenarios. You will learn how to handle challenges associated with fingerprint evidence, write a report, and present your findings in court.
