Nice sessions and topics you have awesome, exciting and enriching. Thank you IASR Team.
This webinar on "Hot Mess! Understanding Heat-Induced Changes in Bone and Embracing a Bioarchaeology", focuses on the effect of burning on the skeleton and the development of new methods to interpret the concept of life and death by studying the burnt bones.
Several experiments have been done in this field, and the results show that there are four stages of heat-induced changes in the bones, namely, dehydration, decomposition, inversion, and fusion. Color change is also an aspect. However, it is a result of not only burning but also the duration of burning.
To learn many more interesting concepts on this topic, enroll in the webinar to gain insights about skeletal transformation in creamtion.
