Forensic biology and serology play a crucial role in solving complex cases by identifying and analyzing biological evidence. From blood analysis to DNA profiling, acquiring industry-specific skills is necessary for a strong foundation to carry out criminal investigations.

The Forensic Biology & Serology Lab Internship by SIFS India will equip you with all the essential skills focusing on testing biological and botanical evidence for the presence of specific substances in samples.

You will learn about collecting and preserving biological evidence, handling various bodily fluids, DNA extraction techniques, interpreting DNA profiles, detecting and analyzing antigens and antibodies, botanical (flowers, leaves, stems, pollen grains) evidence basics, and legal aspects associated with this science.

During the internship, you will be exposed to hands-on exercises along with theoretical understanding that directly aligns with future careers in the forensic sciences. These sessions will provide a well-rounded educational experience for aspiring forensic biologists and serologists.

 

Training Highlights:

Biological Principles: You will gain a strong understanding of the role and scope of forensic biology and serology, along with their principles for successfully identifying and analyzing various biological evidence.

Serology Techniques: You will become proficient in examining various bodily fluids like saliva, semen, sweat, etc. and detecting and analyzing the presence of antigens and antibodies in them.

DNA Profiling: You will acquire in-depth knowledge of advanced DNA profiling techniques, covering extraction, amplification, and analysis, thereby making you an expert in handling and interpreting DNA data.

Expert-Led Workshops: You will learn from forensic biology professionals with extensive real-world experience, preparing you for the complexities of forensic analysis in professional settings.

Certification: Receive a certification upon successful completion as a recognition signifying your mastery of essential skills and knowledge in this field.
