The Mobile Forensics Hands-on Lab Training program by SIFS India equips you with skills to investigate cyber crimes involving smartphones, extract, analyze, and interpret digital evidence from smartphones and other portable devices, perform forensic analysis of mobile applications, and interpret mobile device security, contributing to law enforcement and the cyber security domain.

The practical training is delivered by subject matter experts and covers various case studies and exercises to hone your skills to effectively extract and examine data to reconstruct users’ activities. You will learn how to use specialized tools and techniques to recover information such as call logs, text messages, contacts, and app data; examine logs, caches, and metadata to piece together a timeline of events; analyze Wi-Fi connections and cellular data usage; while investigations also extend to identifying and mitigating malware and security threats.

Upon successfully completing this training, you will be awarded a specialist certificate that signifies your skills to properly handle, transfer, and examine data throughout the investigation process adhering to legal standards, like obtaining proper authorization for data access and analysis.

This training is conducted over 15 days, but if you want to learn more, we can extend it to a month, but no longer than that. However, you need to inform us in advance.

Once you have completed the payment, we will send you an email regarding the confirmation, your joining date, and the required documents.

Eligibility for enrollment in this training requires that you be an undergraduate in forensic science, criminalistics, computer science, cyber forensics, or a related field.

Yes, absolutely this internship helps you to enhance your skill in the techniques and tools related to this field and also aid in career development. 

This training includes an introduction to mobile forensics, their fundamentals, tools, and software, and their applications used for examination.

It is not possible because this is only a 15-day training program, and for confidentiality reasons, we cannot provide real cases. However, you will observe some case procedures.

The duration is very short, so it is not possible to visit any real digital crime scene, but yes, you can work on simulated cases in the lab and learn how to handle the case related to mobile forensics (sim forensic).
